Monitoring and Evaluation

Since the main targeted participants are employed and holding responsible work assignments, conducting the contact sessions will be held on Saturdays and Sundays (48 weeks). In addition, take-home assignments will be given regularly for them to do during the other days of the week. If majority of participants have access to internet, arrangements will be made for them to interact with resource persons electronically as and when they need assistance.

The courses are designed as modular programmes and each Diploma includes eight modules. So that participants can complete individual modules and collect credits on completed modules. At the end of each module, a written examination is conducted in order to assess the knowledge accrued by the students.

Action Learning Project (Research) is compulsory for all students and on the completion of the project students need to submit (written & oral) a report.

Individual modules of diploma courses will be considered as certificate courses. So that participants can complete certificate courses separately and be exempted from those modules in the respective diploma course. Thus, one could be entitled for a diploma certificate by completing the requirements within a few years.

These diploma courses are carefully designed to improve knowledge, enhance skills and inculcate positive attitudes in the areas covered under each diploma course. Such competency development would in turn contribute to enhancement of individual and organizational competitiveness.
